Last week was an interesting week for John and me. We were in Australia for a short holiday. Our aim was to have some rest and relaxation and enjoy some warm weather.
Unfortunately it didn't start well for me. It was an eventful flight with me fainting and collapsing into the floor resulting in a fat lip, then fainting again while sitting at the front of the aircraft. I ended up having an ambulance ride straight from the tarmac and a night in hospital. I had some tests done which showed some things that need further investigations.
We had our 5 nights on the Sunshine Coast but throughout the week what happened to me was always in the back of my mind together with "I wonder what is really happening to me?"
We all worry to some extent about different things that are happening. It is human nature to worry. Our faith can be tested in situations like mine and we question God and plead with him for things to be OK.
I looked up the Bible App on my phone on and the verse of the day was from Zephaniah 3:17.
The Lord your God is with you. The Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing.
This was exactly what I needed on this day. God was with me. Our fight home was uneventful and although it was a full flight the seat next to us was vacant allowing us extra room. Another "God moment". Yes God is good.
