In my last comment I mentioned how the team of people that I work with have lots of challenges, and their inability to respect each other was affecting the dynamic of the group.
A couple of months ago I took on the leadership of our team, and over that time I have been challenging them to step up and face into some of their barriers. In turn, they have challenged me - "what is our vision?" Apparently there was a lot of uncertainty within the team of what our future looked like and how we could deliver value to the business. I thought that we had been co-creating our vision, but the team had simply felt rudderless.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish" Proverbs 29:18
All good things take time, but things are already starting to change. We can candidly speak with each other, and this has made the relationship easier for all of us.
The team's trust in me is growing, as I share my vision with the team and respond to their suggestions. We are listening to each other and learning of each other's strengths and shortcomings.
Here at MWCC, I believe that we have opportunity to share our talents and give of our energy for God's kingdom. We can find our strengths by listening to each other, and allowing God's Holy Spirit to challenge us and give us vision.
Thank you Lord for sending us your Holy Spirit, and please continue to empower us to do your work selflessly.
