Mt Wellington Community Church

My mind has been blank. Try as I might I found it difficult to come up with anything to write this week.

Then once again the world was rocked by another bombing with loss of lives and others lives changed forever.

A colleague comes from Manchester and has a close friend who played soccer with the person who was responsible. Once again we question the futility of it. Where is God in all the chaos? In the midst of the chaos and uncertainty we must find our hope in God.

David did in Psalm 16:8 "I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand I will not be shaken".

We cannot take our eyes off Christ no matter what is happening around us. You may have chaos and uncertainty in your life right now. Hold on to the hope.

My prayer of each of us is found in Romans 15:13 "May the God of Hope fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in Him so that I may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit".
